Redundant Protection
All data backed up using DataProBackup is stored on professionally managed redundant
disk storage arrays. In addition, DataProBackup always stores your data in at least two
separate physical data centers to protect against the loss of an entire data center.
Data Security
Data security is a top priority for DataProBackup. Data is always encrypted on the local
computer before it is transmitted to DataProBackup storage facilities. The data remains
encrypted at all times and is never unencrypted while in transit or in storage.
Encyrption keys are never transmitted to DataProBackup and they are never stored at
any DataProBackup facilities. The owner of the data is the sole owner of the encryption
keys and is therefore the only party with the ability to decrypt backup data.
